St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School’s “More Outreach” is a program that supports the most vulnerable students in the school. The goal of More Outreach is to help ease the burden of poverty felt by many students and to try and equalize at least some of the barriers that may prevent students from living up to their full potential at school.
More Outreach runs a food bank, provides grocery gift cards and bus tickets for families and individual students who are living on their own, helps support students in extra-curricular activities, provides uniform items, and offers nutritious snacks for students during the day.
More Outreach is fully supported by donations and fundraising.
We are looking for donations from local businesses to assist us in meeting the needs of our students. You can be of assistance by donating grocery gift cards, such as President’s Choice, or by donating bus tickets. Monetary donations can also be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School.
When students struggle financially they often feel disconnected from their school community. By helping them overcome some of their challenges, students feel a sense of belonging to the school and classroom.
