MORE Studying

Here are some helpful tips to help you with your studying:

  • Organize your study space
  • Explain your answers to others 
  • Organize study groups with friends 
  • Take regular breaks
  • Snack on healthy food i.e. fruits, raw vegetables, nuts, and yogurts
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water
  • Plan your exam day by studying in advance and not procrastinating 
  • Highlight, bold important dates/terms, and use sticky notes to emphasize key words and/or statements
  • Find a quiet study space where you are free from distractions; Leave your phone in another room!
  • Condense the notes in your binder into an easier format to follow and study (i.e. point form)
  • Watch videos that relate to the topic of study
  • Discover your learning style and build upon it i.e. kinaesthetic, visual, auditory, etc. 
  • Discover apps that will help you study. Be sure to ask your teacher what apps or websites they recommend!
