Self Care

Self care is so important. Now that everyone is busy with school and work, we tend to forget about ourselves and simple self care. Here are some tips and strategies you can do to help care for yourself during stressful and busy times:

  • ​Maintain your friendships and get together with sincere friends as a distraction
  • Get regular exercise. Having a workout routine helps a lot of people's physical and mental health
  • Keep a balanced diet (look at our recipes for inspiration) Changing your diet can make a big difference 
  • Meditation helps calm your mind and is a good stress reliever
  • Take a day for yourself and treat yourself to what you like
  • Plan something to look forward to, whether that be a trip with your friends or an outing – even a holiday
  • Make sleep part of your self-care routine. Having a regular sleep schedule is very important
  • Say NO to others, and say YES to your self-care. Try to put yourself first
